Can’t find the user Library folder on Mac? Since Mac OS X 10.7, the user Library folder is hidden on Mac by default. That’s why you can’t see the Mac user Library directory in Finder. Method 1. Access user library using shortcut on Mac
In Finder, press and hold the Option key and click the Go menu at the same time, the user Library folder will then be listed in the drop-down menu. You can select to open the user Library folder in Finder.
Method 2. Open user library folder from Go to Folder
In the Finder, click Go menu, choose Go to Folder from the drop-down menu. The Go to Folder dialog appears. Type “~/Library” without the quotes in the box and click Go button to open the user Library folder in Finder.
Method 3. Make user library visible in Finder
