Want to know how to select multiple contacts on Xiaomi or Redmi mobile phone and delete them in one go? It is easy although not very intuitive for new Mi users. There are two easy ways to delete contacts in batch from Mi phone and saves a lot of pain over doing it one by one manually.
Batch delete contacts on Xiaomi phone from Settings
Go to Settings >> System apps >> Contacts >> Organize contacts >> Delete batch, then touch the Select all button at the screen bottom, this will select all contacts on your Xiaomi or Redmi phone, finally touch the Delete button at the top right corner to remove all contacts from Xiaomi phone. The batch deletion alert shows up, press on the Delete contact button to confirm the deletion and clear all selected contacts and name cards from Mi mobile. If you want to keep certain contacts, make sure to touch to deselect them after you have tapped on the Select all button.

Tap to run the Contacts app on your Xiaomi or Redmi phone, all your local phone numbers and name cards will be listed. Long press on the Menu button of your mobile phone until you get the Contacts menu with options to manage and display contacts on the phone. Then choose Organize contacts >> Delete batch, and follow on-screen tips to select multiple or all contacts to delete from your Xiaomi or Redmi phone.
