How to change video aspect ratio from 16:9 to 4:3 on computer?

Just like many other media converters, to edit videos with it, you firstly need to import source video shots into the converter, then choose output settings, finally convert source video according to the settings and parameters you have selected. Drag the video clips to the media converter, you will see a screen like below. We are using the video converter for Windows on a PC in this demo. The Mac version differs slightly in appearance.
Besides each video clip, you can see an Edit button. Click on it to open the video editing window as below. Make sure to switch from Trim to Adjust tab. On the right side, you can find the Aspect Ratio option. The original resolution is selected by default. Click on it to expand the drop-down menu, you can find 16:9 aspect ratio, 4:3 aspect ratio and other items like Letterbox, Pan & Scan, Full Screen. In this demo, we are using a 1024*576p video with 16:9 aspect ratio. You can see it fills the whole video player window.
Once you have changed video aspect ratio from 16:9 to 4:3, you can preview the output video as below. The video becomes thinner and narrower in the preview. You can play the whole video which was originally in 16:9 aspect ratio now in new 4:3 aspect ratio. Once you are satisfied with the change, click OK button to save and return to the main interface of the video converter.
Now you can scroll back to the first screenshot above. To convert video aspect ratio from 16:9 to 4:3 is just one click away. You can simply click on the Convert button, then the video with new aspect ratio will be created and saved to the output folder of this video computer. However there are some settings you may like to change, such as the output video format.
