Do you need to convert multiple images to single PDF file? Merging multiple images or photos to single PDF file makes them easier to share and distribute. In an earlier guide, we discussed how you can make use of the virtual printer in Windows 10 OS to convert images to PDF on Windows 10 computer without installing a third-party PDF converter software. This method can also help us combine multiple images, photos or screenshots to a single PDF file in Windows 10.
Here are the steps to convert multiple images into a single PDF file with one or multiple pages on your Windows 10 PC.
First of all, create a new folder in your desktop or from the File Explorer and put all the images, screenshots, photos you need to convert to a single PDF file into this folder. Rename the image files so as to sort them in the desired order. For instance, you can rename them to image1, image2, image3, etc. Press Ctrl+A on your keyboard to select all of the images you want in your PDF. Right-click on the thumb of the first image file, choose Print from the context menu. The Print Pictures dialog pops up.
Here you need to:
- Step 1. select the virtual printer called “Microsoft Print to PDF” from the “Printer” drop-down list;
- Step 2. choose a layout from the right panel;
- Step 3. click Print, choose a location and file name, then save the images as a PDF.
Create a multi-page VS single-page PDF
By default all images will be saved as a single multi-page PDF file. If you need to make a photo collage or put all pictures in the same page, choose a right layout from the right panel. The virtual printer offers various presets or templates that can hold two, four, nine or even more picture thumbnails in one PDF page.
