Convert R3D to MOV, MP4, AVI using Adobe Media Encoder

The RED cameras shoot high resolution videos in R3D format using the REDCODE. Many third-party players may not be able to support the R3D videos currently. If you can’t open or play a .r3d video file on your computer, you need to use a video editor to convert it to a popular format or codec, such as MOV, MP4, AVI, QuickTime movie, Apple ProRes, etc. These converter or editors include Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Media Encoder, Adobe After Effects, REDCINE-X PRO, etc. See how you can play and convert RED R3D videos on computers just as an example.
