If you are an Adobe Audition users, you can make use of its built-in speech generation feature in conjunction with the libraries available in your Operating System, Windows or Mac, to convert text into speech, MP3 or other audio files. In this article, we will show you how to convert text to speech with Adobe Audition CC on Windows 10 PC.
Run Adobe Audition CC on your Windows computer. From the top menu bar, choose File > New > Audio File, input file name, select Mono in the Channels box, hit OK button to create an audio file. Then click Effects > Generate > Speech, you will get the Generate Speech screen like this.
You can select the language, gender, voice of the speech to synthesize. Copy the text from your Word document, web page, email, books to the above Generate speech dialog. Click the Play button at the lower left corner to preview the audio. Click OK button to convert text to speech or audio on your Windows PC with Audition. Finally go to save the audio to your PC from the File menu. You have the option to choose output audio format in the export process. You can choose to convert text to MP3, WAV, AIFF, OGG and so on.
