Many people use iTunes to backup their personal files and data from iPhone to their PC and Mac computers. iTunes is powerful but not straightforward. If you find iTunes is difficult to use and need easier iPhone iPad backup tools, you are at the right place.
Sync iPhone voice memos to Mac
If you are using Mac Mojave or later, you can find the Voice Memos app from the Launchpad. When your iPhone and Mac are signed into the same iCloud account, your voice memos will be synced across the phone and computer automatically. To export sound recordings from Voice Memos app to Mac, simply drag it from Voice Memos app to the desktop or any folder in Finder. All your voice recordings will be saved, shared and exported in the .m4a format.

In Mac App Store and Microsoft Store there are dozens of third-party software tools for backing up or transferring data from iOS device to computer. But my go-to are Dr.Fone and Apower Phone Manager. The former is ideal for backing up all iPhone voice memos to PC or Mac. The later allows users to select multiple voice memos to export from iPhone to computer. They are straightforward and also work on both Windows and Mac computers. In this quick guide, we will show you how to back up iPhone voice memos with these two programs.
Method 1. Batch backup iPhone voice memos using Apower Manager
Get the mobile phone manager here before we get started. Run the phone manager on your PC or Mac. Connect iPhone to computer via USB. Then you will see your iPhone screen along with your phone status, like model, firmware, battery, storage usage in the phone manager software on your desktop or laptop.
Switch from the My Device to the Manage tab, you will then find the category list on the left. Choose Notes > Voice Memos from the left pane, you will then see the list of all your iPhone voice memos.
Mouse on a voice memo or recording to reveal the options to play it using the built-in player, download it to your computer or delete it from your iPhone.
You can click the checkbox before the Name to quickly select all iPhone voice memos, or Ctrl+click or Shift+Click the checkboxes before the voice memos to select multiple voice memos, then click the Export button at the top toolbar, choose a folder on your PC or Mac and save the iPhone voice memos to computer.
Method 2. Backup all iPhone voice memos using Dr.Fone

Click Backup&Restore button from its home screen to open the iPhone data backup tool in a new window. Connect your iPhone to computer via USB, the data backup software will detect your iPhone automatically.
Click Backup button, then select Voice Memos along with other file types you want to backup from the file type selection screen. In the Backup Path box, select the location where you want to save your iPhone voice memos. Finally hit the Backup button to copy all your iPhone voice memos to your PC or Mac.
