How to determine MIUI version on Xiaomi & Redmi?
Since different MIUI versions have different settings and designs. You may need to find out your MIUI version on Xiaomi & Redmi before you can turn on Developer options or turn on USB debugging mode on them.
Tap on Settings on Xiaomi or Redmi mobile phone, then scroll down to the bottom and select About Phone.

Open Settings on your Mi phone, tap My device >> All specs >> MIUI version. Just tap the MIUI version for 7 times until you see the message saying you are now a developer.
