Step 1. Download the iPhone file manager

Step 2. Connect iPhone to computer via USB.
The desktop program can then automatically recognize your iPhone. When you see the Trust This Computer pop-up on iPhone, choose Trust, otherwise you can’t access your iPhone from computer. Step 3. Save iPhone messages, imessages to PC.
Click Messages at the right hand side to quickly jump into the Messages category under the Manage tab.
Here you can select, preview, export and copy text messages and imessages. To backup or transfer iPhone messages to your desktop or laptop, select the messages in the list or simply click the checkbox in front of the Message to quickly select all your messages on iPhone. Then hit the Export button at the top toolbar, choose either XML or CSV at the file format, select a location in the pop-up dialog and save your iPhone messages to your PC or Mac computer.
If you want to backup only messages received from a particular contact, select that contact first and then click the Copy button in the message preview pane to copy the messages to clipboard, you can then paste it to a document on your computer, such as Word, Excel, Note, Page, etc.
With a copy of your iPhone messages saved on computer, you can get them back if you lost them accidentally on the phone, you can also convert them to other file types, print them out to paper if like.
