Find the MAC Address on Snow Leopard or Leopard

In this guide, we will explain how you can find out the Mac address on your Mac OS X 10.5 or 10.6 (Leopard or Snow Leopard).

Instructions to Find the MAC Address on Snow Leopard or Leopard:

1. From the Apple menu in the upper left hand corner choose System Preferences or click the icon in the Dock
2. Click on the Network icon
3. Now, you will get the Network pane popped up. Select Ethernet for Wired connection or Airport for Wireless or Wi-fi connection.

4. For wireless connection, click the Advanced button on the bottom right area.The MAC address is listed as AirPort ID.
5. For wired connection, click on the Ethernet tab. Your MAC address will be at the top of this window as your Ethernet ID.
