How to grant root permissions to apps from Kinguser on Android phone?

In an earlier tutorial, we talked about how you can root Android phones without a computer. One problem after rooting mobile phone is to manage superuser or root permission on the phone. You can grant root access to a specific application or remove root access from a specific application on Android phone. In this guide, we will show you how to grant root permissions to apps from Kinguser on Android phone. So if you have rooted your phone and installed Kinguser to manage app access levels and privileges or if you plan to do so, this article is right for you.

How to grant root permissions to apps from Kinguser?

Run Kinguser app on your mobile phone. Its home screen looks like this.

To grant root permission to a specific app or remove root permission from a specific app on your Android phone. Go to Root authorization. A new screen like following displays on your phone.

Apps request root access will be listed as shown above. By default they will be set to Prompt. So every time the app requests root privilege, you will get prompt to allow or deny root privilege for the app. If you want to add root access to certain app, click on the down arrow after the Prompt to reveal more options, including Allow, Deny and Prompt.

Click Allow to grant root access to an Android app. By this way, you can intentionally grant root permission to some app on mobile phone, not automatically get prompted when a specific app asks for root permission. Kinguser allow mobile phone users to pick an app and grant it root permissions. If you want to remove root permissions from some app, simply choose Deny or Prompt.

  2. Hi.. I tried to root my vivo Y22 phone with kinguser bt it was asking for root access..
    When I tapped on root authorization it does nothing there nd just said root access required.. wht to do now??
    How can I give allow root access?

    1. generally speaking, when you tap ‘root authorization’ from the home screen of Kinguser, you should find all apps that require root access on the phone.
      if your phone is rooted, you should see the ‘Successfully obtain root’ below the Kinguser logo at the home screen of Kinguser. It it says root access required, most likely your phone has not been rooted successfully.
      How did you root the phone? did you get any error in the rooting process?

      1. when you try to install an APK on the phone, you may be prompted to allow the installation from unknown resources otherwise it will be blocked. this is the default security setting on android phones as phone makers want users to download and install apps from the provided Android market or app store other than third party resources. you can take a look at following guide to install Apps from unknown sources on Android phones see if any help.

  3. Hey what version is that kinguser, I downloaded v 4.0.5 but that’s not working while rooting my device it reboots itself, I tried many times but it restarts.
