QuickTime Player allows us to mirror our iPhone or iPad screen to a Mac via USB connection, it doesn’t work for Windows PC though. X-Mirage support wireless screen mirroring from iOS device to computer, it is however requires a license fee for $16.
Today, we will introduce another smartphone screen mirror software, Apower Phone Mirror. It is available for both Windows and Mac and you can use its free trial version to mirror your iPhone or iPad screen to a Windows PC and Mac without any fee. The only drawback is the not obvious, small watermark.
To use the phone mirror you have to download and install the mirror software on your PC or Mac first. Then connect your iPhone or iPad to the same Wi-Fi network with your desktop or laptop. Run the screen mirror program on your computer. On your iOS device, access its Control Center, then tap on Screen Mirroring, choose your computer name to start mirroring. You will then see your iPhone or iPad screen in the phone mirror software on your computer. It is just that easy!
- your iPhone or iPad must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network with your computer, otherwise, you can’t find your computer from the Control Center > Screen Mirroring on your iOS device.
- you don’t need to download and install any app on the iOS device. Just use the built-in Screen Mirroring feature in the Control Center.
- Swipe up from the bottom edge of any screen to bring up Control Center on your iOS device. On iPhone X or later or iPad with iOS 12 or later, swipe down from the upper-right corner of the screen.
- Watermark display in the phone mirroring software on your computer, you can buy a license to remove it for commercial use.
