In this quick demo, we will use its Mac version to show you how to print out text messages, iMessages, WhatsApp chats, Kik conversations, Viber messages, from an iPhone. Its Windows counterpart works with various Windows versions, like Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista, etc. You may see slight difference in appearance if you use its Windows version on a PC.
Go to back up your iPhone to Mac using iTunes first of all. Then run the iOS toolkit, you will see its home screen as shown below. Click Recover to open the Data Recovery utility in a new window.
From the left pane, you will see it supports file recovery from iOS device, iTunes backup and iCloud backup. Choose Recover from Backup File. Select the iPhone backup file and scan it.
You will be asked to choose file types to scan. Select Messages & Attachments if you need to print text messages and iMessages from your iPhone. You also have the options to select and access WhatsApp messages & attachments, Viber messages and attachments, Kik chats and attached files.
The data recovery program can quickly find and extract your messages and other selected files from the iTunes, iPhone backup file on your computer, you can then preview, select, export, restore, or print out the messages.
Select the messages, conversations first, then hit the Printer icon which you can find above the chat history preview window, preview the chat transcript and print them out onto paper using a connected printer.
