Customize the recording settings and options if you like, such as system sound, voice input through microphone, etc. Then click the Start Recording button to start. You will now see a small recording icon at the top right corner of your PC screen. Click the Stop Recording button to stop recording. To access your screen recordings, go to This PC > Videos > Captures. You’ll find all of your captured videos there.

Alternatively, you can press Windows Key + Alt + R to quickly start the recording, or you can press the Windows Key + Alt + R again to stop it.

Windows Game Bar VS Screen Recorders

Xbox Game Bar is built into Windows OS, giving you instant access to widgets for screen capture, sharing, and more. If you need to record video games or a quick way to record screen, you can choose the Game bar. It however lacks the features to select screen, record multiple windows, capture the full entire screen, edit the recordings. If you want more control, you should go for a third-party recorder software tool.
