Step 1. Connect iPhone to computer

Recover iPhone contacts to computer or iPhone?
You have the options to save iPhone contacts to computer or put them back to iPhone directly. However we strongly recommend you firstly recover deleted contacts from iPhone to a PC or Mac. Then double check to ensure all lost contacts and other files you like to recover have been saved on your lattop or desktop. Finally you can go to transfer the files back to iPhone. Although the deleted contacts still save on your iPhone, they are flagged as deletion, so any new data save to your iPhone may overwrite those deleted contacts or other data on it. If the deleted files have been overwritten, you will no longer be able to retrieve them.
After that, you will get another dialogue where you can choose the target folder on your PC or Mac hard disk to save the exported contacts from iPhone or iPad.
Confirm the folder path and click Recover button. When you open the folder on your computer, you will find contacts are saved as CSV, HTML and VCF files.
You can open and view your iPhone iPad contacts on PC or Mac easily, for example, you can open the CSV file with Excel, Numbers, a text editor or spreadsheet program, open the HTML file using your web browser, open the VCF file in Outlook or other editors. #2. Recover iPhone contacts from iTunes backup
If you have already backed up contacts on iPhone using iTunes, you can sync iPhone from iTunes backup on the computer. Today we will not discuss how to recover deleted iPhone contacts through iTunes. Beware that iTunes restore will replace all your personal data on iPhone with old data saved in the backup. You have not choice to selectively restore contacts or certain contacts. Insteadly itunes restore everything in its backup like contacts, messages, photos, call history, calendar, notes and many more to iPhone. Any data you created after the last backup will be deleted.
