Launch the Photos app on your iOS device. At the bottom of your screen, you can see three tabs: Photos, Memories and Albums. Tap on the Albums to open the list of all albums on your iPhone. We use an iPhone 8 which is running on iOS 11 in the demo. If you use an iPad or other iPhone model, iOS version, you may see the difference in appearance.

Once you opened the Albums tab in Photos app on iPhone, you should see the Camera Roll album at the top section, followed by Favourites, People and other folders. Scroll down until you find the Recently Deleted album. Tap to open this folder, you will find all your recently deleted photos and videos from your Camera Roll. Since these deleted files still use up your iPhone’s storage which beats the purpose of deleting them to free up space. Apple will only keep them in this trash can or recycle bin for 30 days before they are permanently deleted from your iPhone’s memory.
