Reduce PDF file size using PDF Squeezer

Run the PDF compressor from the Launchpad on your Mac. You will see two boxes side by side at its home page. The left box says ‘Drop your files here’. You can drag and drop PDF files from Finder to this drop box, the PDF compression tool will instantly shrink down the file sizes. Or you can go to its File menu > Open to open the folder and load all PDF files you want to compress into the compression app to batch compress multiple PDF files.

The default filter will be applied. You can however choose from predefined compression filters or create your own. At the bottom of the PDF compressor, you can see the current default filter, or change new filters from there. Click Preview to view the PDF file before you save them. When you are satisfied with both file size and quality, click Save As to save them as copies or Save to overwrite existing PDF files.

Go to PDF Squeezer > Preferences, to tweak more configurable options to suit your own needs. You can enable enable the automatic compression and save with ‘One-Click-Compression’.
