Restart Apple Mobile Device Service on Windows
Press the Windows key and R key combination on your keyboard, you will get the Run command dialogue on your Windows computer. This shortcut or hot key works for all major Windows OS, like Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista and Windows XP.
Type “services.msc” and click Ok button. The Windows services console will then open. Find and click to select Apple Mobile Device Service, then click the “Restart the service“. Here you can also stop or start Apple Mobile Device Service.
If you like to make this service starts automatically when you start the Windows computer, you can go to change its start type to automatic. To do that, right click on Apple Mobile Device Service, you will get a pop-up menu, click Properties in the menu, from the General tab set the Startup type pop-up menu to Automatic. Click OK button to save the change and quit. Restart your computer.
