Save a web page as PDF on Windows PC
Open any web browser you have on your PC. It doesn’t have to be Internet Explorer or Edge. Third-party browser will also do, like Chrome, Firefox, Opera, etc. Almost all these desktop web browsers have the Print function. You can make use of this browser functionality to convert web pages to PDF. We will use both Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox browsers in the demo below.
First of all, download and install the PDF program on to your PC.
Save a web page as PDF in Google Chrome on Windows computer
Run the web browser on your Windows computer, open the website or web page you like to convert to PDF. In Chrome browser, click the Menu at the top right, select Print… from the drop-down menu, then change Destination to PDF Element, finally hit the Print button. The PDF Element will convert the web page to PDF and open it automatically after it. If the web page is very long, wait a few seconds for the conversion to complete. You just need to click the Save button at the top left corner, choose a location to save the PDF file, type a new name for the PDF document if like, and click Save again to export it from the PDF program to your computer hard drive.
Save a web page as PDF in Firefox for Windows
Open the web page in Firefox browser, click the Menu at the top right, choose Print… from the side menu, you will then open the print preview window.
Click Print… again at the top left, then choose PDF Element as the printer and click OK to confirm. The PDF Element will convert the web page to PDF and open it automatically. You just need to click the Save button at the top left corner, choose a location to save the PDF file, type a new name for the PDF document if like, and click Save to export it from the PDF program to your computer hard drive.
