Take screenshots on Xiaomi & Redmi mobile phones – Method 1
Bring up what you like to capture on Xiaomi & Redmi mobile phone. Press the Menu button and Volume down button simultaneously for about 1 or 2 second. Actually you do not have to press the two buttons exactly at the same time. We found it is easier to capture screen on Xiaomi and Redmi new phone models, easier than many other phones, including Samsung, iPhone and iPad. When your phone screen is captured, the screen will flash, and you’ll hear the shutter sound if your phone is not on silent or vibration mode. You’ll also see a message appear on the screen that says “Screenshot captured”.
The screenshots on Xiaomi & Redmi phone will be saved as .PNG images files on the phone. You can find they from the Gallery app or in the DCIM/Screenshots folder when you access them using the File Explorer or other file manager apps. - Bring up what you like to capture on your on Xiaomi & Redmi phone screen;
- Slide down to open the notification panel from the top of the screen;
- Slide left to open the quick tools and settings screen;
- Tap Screenshot, and you are done.
