      2. create a folder on the phone with a descriptive but not duplicate name such as ‘music’, ‘ringtones’ or else.
      3. you can find saved sound recordings, should be in .mp3 format, on Xiaomi or Redmi phone from SD/MIUI/sound_recorder/ or Internal SD card/MIUI/sound_recorder/. long press on the recorded song and choose to Copy it.
      4. paste the recorded song to the new folder created in step 2 above.
      5. go to Settings >> Sound >> Phone Ringtone >> Select tone >> Browse or Add, see if the recorded song can be found and set as the new ringtone from there.

    1. you can tap Themes from your phone screen, then touch the User icon at the top left corner, you will be taken to the ‘My Account’ screen on the phone, scroll down to the bottom, choose Settings, then disable ‘Use theme ringtones’, after that go back to ‘My Account’ screen, choose Ringtone, select and apply a new ringtone from there see if any help.
If still no luck, you may need to wait for the next update or you can report the bug in MIUI forum.
