My xiaomi hotpot turns off data connection soon after screen turns off… How can i maintain it on for longer with screen off?
I have a properly updated Xiaomi Mi Max Prime (running Miui 8).
The portable hotspot feature works fine with my laptop *provided* the screen on my Xiaomi is on. As soon as it shuts off, I get “Limited Connectivity” on my laptop. Consequently, I’m having to set the Turn Display off to ‘Never’ whenever i want to use the portable hotspot.
Could you help resove this? I just don’t want to fiddle around with the screen display time every time I want to use the portable hotspot feature.
