How to take a screenshot on iPhone?

Screen capturing is a very useful feature on our mobile phones. For example you can take a screenshot on iPhone to save and share your game score. You can search the route in a map app, then capture your travel route and save it to the Camera Roll, so you can quickly access it from the Photos app without accessing internet. You can capture a plan, schedule, list or any text or image from an email, your memo, calendar or any other apps, then send and share them as image files or just save a copy of any data as image files in your Camera Roll for future reference. Are you using other mobie phones other than iPhone? See this guide to capture screen on Samsung phones and this tutorial to take screenshot on Lenovo phones. iOS devices work differently.
