Have you ever wanted to transfer voice memos from iPhone to Mac in their native MPEG-4 (.m4a) file format? This iPhone data transfer is the easiest tool to help you with that. If you don’t like iTunes and think file transfer between computer and iOS devices should be easier, it is your best choice.
It comes with a free version with limited features. Download the free trial version of the iPhone transfer program on your Mac. You will find various tools from its home screen. Data Transfer is just one of them.
NOTE: the latest version of Mac OS has built in the Voice Memos app, and your voice memos on iPhone will be synced to Mac automatically when both iOS device and Mac are signed in to the same iCloud account.

Click Transfer from its main interface. Connect your iPhone to Mac via USB. If you see the ‘Trust this computer?’ prompt on the phone, allow the Mac to access your iPhone via USB. The iPhone transfer can then detect and connect your iPhone. Switch from home to the Files tab. Your files and folders on iPhone will then be listed in the transfer program, just like any other files and folders in Finder on Mac. You are free to copy and paste files and folders from iPhone to Mac or Mac to iPhone here.
To copy voice memos and sound recordings from iPhone, click the Voice Memo from the left pane to display all voice recordings on iPhone. Click to select any or all of them, click Export button at the toolbar above, choose a location or directory on your Mac to save the selected iPhone voice memos.
Find the iPhone voice memos in Finder on Mac, you can then play them using iTunes or any other music player you have on the computer, merge the M4A files, convert voice memos to MP3 format, etc.
