Uninstall Your Phone app on Windows 10

Windows 10 comes with Your Phone app which allows you to connect to your Android mobile wirelessly so you can quickly access your pictures, notifications, and text messages from your desktop or laptop. If you are an iPhone user, or if you are experiencing problems with connecting your Android, you may want to uninstall the app. Unfortunately Microsoft doesn’t allow us to uninstall this system app from Settings or the classic Control Panel. You have to uninstall it from Windows PowerShell. Here’s how.

Search for Windows PowerShell in the Windows task bar at the bottom of your PC screen. Click to open it from the search result.

In the Windows PowerShell window, type the following command and press Enter on your keyboard to execute the command to uninstall the Your Phone app from Windows 10.

Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.YourPhone -AllUsers | Remove-AppxPackage
