Use WhatsApp Messenger on PC and Mac

WhatsApp is a widely used messaging app. It offers many useful features. For example, we can use it to send text messages, make voice and video calls, share images and documents, and engage in group chats. We can download and use it on our smartphones, like iPhone and Android mobile phones, for free. Sometimes however we may need to use it on our computers. For example, we can have multiple chat windows open alongside other applications, making it easier to manage work, communicate with colleagues, and stay organized. There are two ways we can use WhatsApp on our PC or Mac computers, either through WhatsApp for Web or its desktop application.

Method 1. Use WhatsApp desktop version for Windows or Mac

WhatsApp offers a web version and a desktop application that allows you to use WhatsApp from your computer. Using its desktop version for Windows or Mac is very easy and effective. You need to download and install the WhatsApp Desktop application from Microsoft Store or Mac App Store. Like WhatsApp Web, you initially pair it with your phone using a QR code.

Method 2. Use WhatsApp for Web on PC and Mac

With WhatsApp for Web, you can now use WhatsApp messenger on PC and Mac computers. You do not need to install any WhatsApp software on to your computer, your desktop web browser, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Opera, is the only tool required. WhatsApp Web allows you to send and receive WhatsApp messages right from your computer.

Open your web browser on PC or Mac, then visit the WhatsApp for Web page. You can access WhatsApp for web from Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Opera browser on your PC or Mac computer. After that you will get a QR code in your desktop browser.

Then you need to use WhatsApp on your phone to scan the code. Run WhatsApp messenger on your mobile phone to enable WhatsApp for web, scan the QR code you get from your desktop browser on PC or Mac. WhatsApp is a cross-platform mobile messaging app for iPhone and Android.

• On Android: Tap the three-dot menu in the upper right corner and select “WhatsApp Web.”
• On iPhone: Tap the Settings tab (bottom right) and select “WhatsApp Web/Desktop.”

Use your phone’s camera to scan the QR code on the WhatsApp Web page displayed on your computer screen to log into your WhatsApp account from your computer and start using WhatsApp on the web.

Now go to your computer and start using WhatsApp Messenger on your PC or Mac. WhatsApp Web is a miniature version of WhatsApp mobile. You can send text messages, voice messages, photos, videos, audios for free using WhatsApp web on your computer. You will receive messages on both your mobile phone and the computer. The two devices will sync automatically. In the help of a physical keyboard, mouse, and much bigger display screen, you can type faster, send files faster using WhatsApp web on PC and Mac computers.
