Change wallpaper on iPhone 8, 8 Plus, X

Want to add some artistic styling to your new iPhone 8, 8 Plus or iPhone X? Let’s start with a new wallpaper or background image. It is the easiest way to personalize your new mobile phone and make it really your own. There are two easy ways you can edit wallpaper of iPhone. Do I have to make my own iPhone wallpapers exactly the same as as iPhone display resolution using an image editing program on computer or an image editor app on iPhone? You can do that, but not necessary. You can use your own photo or download specially designed iPhone wallpapers from internet. Apple also have packed some wallpapers in the iOS you can use for free.

Easiest way to change wallpaper on iPhone 8, 8 Plus, iPhone X

From your iPhone home screen, launch the Photos app, browse through your albums and find your favorite picture that you like to set as the new background image or screensaver on iPhone. Tap the Share icon at the bottom left corner, the action menu shows up at the screen bottom, choose Use as Wallpaper, you will see a screen like this.

You can move the image to select a part of the image as the wallpaper. Or pinch to zoom in and out, so the image fits the screen. If the new iPhone wallpaper is exactly the same size with your device, it may not move. At the lower section of the wallpaper preview screen, you can see two display options: Still and Perspective. You can choose Still, so the wallpaper doesn’t move.The wallpaper moves as you tilt your screen if you choose Perspective here.

When you are done, tap Set, then choose Set Lock Screen, Set Home Screen or Set Both. You can use the same photo as the background image for both home screen and lock screen, or set two different pictures as the home screen and lock screen separately.

You can also jump into the Settings to change the current wallpaper on your iPhone. Go to Settings >> Wallpaper >> Choose a New Wallpaper, then pick up a new wallpaper from Apple or your own photo albums or Camera Roll.
