PPT and PPTX are file extensions for Microsoft PowerPoint presentations. PPT and PPTX slides are commonly used for office and educational slide shows. You will need to download and install PowerPoint, OpenOffice or other software tools in order to open and view PPT or PPTX presentation files. If you want to send and share the presentation files with others who do not have PowerPoint, you can save your presentation as PDF so the recipients can view it, even if they don’t have PowerPoint or other compatible programs. Export PPT, PPTX as PDF in PowerPoint
If you have the PowerPoint installed on your PC, you can open the PPT or PPTX slides with it. Then export the presentation as PDF file from PowerPoint.
To convert a presentation in PowerPoint, click the File menu, choose Export, click Create PDF/XPS Document >> Create PDF/XPS.
The Publish as PDF or XPS dialog pops up. From this dialog, you can choose a location to save the file to, type in a new name if you like. Click Publish button to save the PPT or PPTX file from PowerPoint to PDF on your computer.
