When you recall or unsend a messages in WeChat, the recalled message will disappear from both your chat screen and the recipient’s screen. Sometimes however when we received a message saying someone has recalled a message in WeChat, we may want to know what this message is about. If you are using WeChat on iPhone, you can easily retrieve and read recalled messages in WeChat for iPhone when you have the following options enabled on iPhone.
Enable WeChat Notifications on iPhone
Open Settings on iPhone, go to Notification Center >> WeChat >> Show in Notification Center and other options is enabled.
Enable Show Preview Text in WeChat
Launch WeChat on your iPhone, switch to the Me tab from the bottom, choose Settings >> Notifications >> Show Preview Text, then WeChat message notifications will contain sender and summary on iPhone.
Preview and read recalled WeChat messages on iPhone
Simply pull down the notification center from the screen top on iPhone, you should find the WeChat messages that were just recalled by the sender.
