  2. Im Redmi3 user… i switch on my Hotspot… when my bro is trying to connected through me by wifi then his device is not able connect through my device… Can u plz Help us

    1. it appears there is no limit on this at this moment. currently we can only see how many devices are connected to it without any option to limit the max connections or cut connections from certain devices.

      1. But there’s always a limit. A phone doesn’t have the capacity to connect infinite others via wifi hotspot. Like Xperia Z2 has to capacity of 10 users maximum, note 3 has the capacity of 11 users maximum.

        1. yes, you are right. on my Samsung phone, i found it is limited to 10 devices. I double checked on my Xiaomi phone with no luck. I guess Xiaomi or Redmi phones currently just don’t provide us this info as of now. I also find many other MI users have the same question unanswered in the MI forum.

  3. In other mobiles there are many options for hotspot eg: block the people who use our mobile hotspot Internet. I am using mi note 3 there is no option

    1. i have the same problem on my Redmi Note 2. it seems Xiaomi phones do not come with the options and settings for us to manage wi-fi hotspot users. for now, we can only see how many users are connected to our Xiaomi or Redmi phone, if you find the user number is not right, you have to change the wifi hotspot network password, and ask people to connect to the network again with the new password.
